“Captured Moments” – Photography/Caption Contest
-Contest open to professional photographers and amateurs.
-Entries MUST contain a catchy name/caption. Caption does NOT have to be on photo as shown in the example pic.
-Photographs may be taken with camera or cell phone.
-Pictures must be work of person submitting.
-Photograph can be framed, matted, canvas, metal or on backer/foam board submitted work should be no larger than 8”x10” (not including frame/mat) .
–Awards will be given in the following categories: Professional, Amateur, Junior (Ages 10-15), and People’s Choice for each category. Awards ceremony will be Saturday, September 8th at Noon.
–Entry Fee: Participants can submit 2 photos for $5.00/ Maximum number of photos submitted by one person is 4.
–Publicity: Photographs may be used by the Nashua Area Artists Association for publicity and/or social media promotion purposes.
–Drop Off: Photographs and Applications can be dropped off at the ArtHub gallery at 30 Temple St (Lower Level) Nashua NH starting July 2, 1018-August 4, 2018 during business hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Fridays 11:00-3:00 and Saturdays 10:00-2:00.
–Deadline: August 4, 2018
–Mailing Photographs: Photographs and Applications can also be mailed to Nashua Area Artists Assoc Attn: Photo Contest, P.O. Box 70 Nashua, NH 03061. It is recommended to mark envelope/packaging “Do Not Bend”. If you want us to mail your entry back to you, you must send a SASE with your entry.
–Pick Up: All work must be picked up at ArtHub by September 22nd or it becomes the property of the Nashua Area Artists Association
–Display: Photographs/Captions will be on display from August 8th – September 8th for awards ceremony at Noon on Saturday, September 8th.
–People’s Choice Voting will be at ArtHub from August 8th – August 31st.
